For many women, your wedding day is something you have dreamed about for many years. When the big day comes, you want it to be perfect and go off without any disasters or mishaps. One of the major elements in almost any wedding is the wedding dress, along with accessories such as flowers, the wedding cake and all of the fun things that come along with your reception.

You can find wedding dresses in a wide variety of stores and shops. There are wedding dress boutiques that specialize in almost everything related to weddings, which can make them an excellent resource for information about wedding vendors for things like flower delivery, honeymoon plans and all types of other wedding-related services.

Also consider going to a wedding dress trunk show. These shows are often a wonderful way to find out about dresses made by local designers or one-of-a-kind dresses that you will not usually find at a large bridal gown store.

Choosing the right ring
A diamond is forever. Hopefully, so is the ring you will be choosing. But what is right for you?
First off, get something that the lady will like. I know that sounds a bit cliché but remember, she’ll be the one wearing it for a good long time. The second thing is the cost. Most people use what they call “Two month salary” or “Three month salary”, basically that the amount of the diamond rings should cost roughly the same as how much you earn in two or three months.

Wedding Attendant Gifts
You should also consider what kinds of gifts you are going to give your wedding attendants. Traditionally, the Maid of Honor is given a gift that is somewhat different from those given to other attendants.

Some brides choose to give attendant gifts that are personal or fun to do together, such as a spa day or a day at a ceramics studio. Other brides choose to give each attendant something that they will personally enjoy and is unique to them. There are many items you can offer your reception guests as wedding favors. For example, you can take a photograph of the bridal couple and have it printed on the packaging for candy bars that are given to guests. Another idea is to have handmade truffle candies wrapped in netting closed with ribbon printed with the couple’s name and wedding date. Some couples prefer to stay with the simple and traditional wedding reception favor and simply have small bags of Jordan Almonds to give to their wedding reception guests. Other bridal couples go all-out and have individually wrapped photo frames with pictures of themselves as wedding reception favors for their guests.

Planning a wedding can be stressful, but with enough organization and effort, you can have the wedding of your dreams.
